EDITOR’S REMARKS
Based on a true story, CIA: Operation Ajax redefines the experience of reading a graphic novel by including interactive sound and animations. It’s also preloaded with notes, photos, and historical documents that offer you more background on the story as you read. Which is why we think that there is great potential to use this format in education as a tool to get kids actively interested in history. Unfortunately, at $7.99, it’s pricier than traditional digital comics. Bit at the end of the day, CIA: Operation Ajax isn’t just a digital comic book for the iPad, it’s the future of comics.

This is a beautifully designed motion graphic novel with a full film score. It definitely impresses. Worth every penny and more. I hope this company puts out more soon!
What do u mean “unfortunately”? This is not a 22 page comic, this is a full 210 page book. darwyn cookes books sell for 9.99 in the app store and they are lackluster flat pdfs. if this was sold in kindle or ibooks, nobody would balk at the price.
Finally something that takes advantage of the platform!
I have been disappointed with the way comics & graphic novels have been handled on tablets. However, I absolutely fell in love with CIA: Operation Ajax. Lots of attention was obviously put into the reading experience. These guys REALLY get what’s special about comics and tablets alike.
Can’t wait for whatever they do next.
